Welcome to Red Hatters of Tri-cities WA Website
Hi and welcome,
For those of you who did not know, Ede Johnson got the ball
rolling for Red Hatters in the Tri-Cities in 2000 by starting the
"1st Red Hat Society of Tri-Cities" (appropriately named -
don't you think?). Now there are over 23 official Red Hat
Chapters in our area. And the numbers keep growing.
Red Hat Ladies are a fun-loving group who put on red hats
and purple clothes and seek adventure where ever it may be.
Check the Red Hat Society website for history on how it all
began!
My friends and I have decided to create this website so that
Red Hatters in our area can share ideas, photos, and events
with other "like hatted" individuals. We hope that you will
enjoy this site and help us to make it better by submitting
your chapters photos and ideas. Our goal is to help spread
the FUN! We will continue to update and change as much
as possible to reflect the "happenings" of the Tri-City Red
Hatters. We hope this site is user friendly, helpful and of
course, fun!

| OK We've got our chapter started - SO NOW WHAT DO WE DO!!! Every Chapter is different. You get to "do your own thing"! Just learn how to have fun together. It's not just about having lunch - unless you want it to be. Some go to movies, shopping, antiquing. How about going to breakfast in your pajamas?! Have a water melon seed spitting contest, take a trip to a casino or just get together to laugh! What ever you decide to do is great! Have fun! This site is designed to help share ideas. Photo above was taken at the Red Hat Invasion was a 3 day event held in April
2005 & April 2006 In Richland. Several hundred Red Hatters from all over the
Northwest & Canada attended the events. Entertainment has included "Big Purple
Undies" authors of the book "Big Purple Undies"; Madi Gras Masquerade Dinner
party with casino gaming and jazz band; a Murder Mystery at the "Copa Casaba"
Jazz Club in 1928; "Elvis" at the sock hop! Click on "Photo Album" to see more
